Back from the Dungeon - Clerkenwell Design Week 2019

Hello, and thanks so much to everyone who visited us in the dungeon at Clerkenwell Design Week.

It's not often that I have to return to Yorkshire to dry out and warm up, but it was all worth it!

I was joined by artist Sarah Jane Palmer to talk about the inspiration behind Maitrise and Body Lace and share a flask of hot coffee, and we can report that being a prisoner in the House of Detention must have been a chilling experience.

We were astounded by the amazing reaction we had to our stand and thrilled to be visited by some iconic London retailers and journalists 😍🤞😁
And now...Onto the new!

Our latest artist Kirsty Greenwood has now finished the artwork for our new Kilmt inspired fabric.

The design has been hand drawn onto layers of tracing paper over the original marbled base. It doesn't look like much at the moment, but this week I'll be travelling to Carlisle to work on translating our ideas onto screens and then fabric, my favourite bit, can't wait to see how it turns out!
It's been amazing to have had so much press coverage over the last few weeks, even if we don't always find out about it at the time!

Last week the Evening Standard featured our 'Rita does Jazz' cushion, and the Yorkshire Post focussed on our 'How the Leopard got his Spots' velvet in their Real Homes feature on Beth and John from Fresh Start Living.
Please get in touch if you'd like us to send any samples out or if you'd like advice on calculating quantities, we'd love to hear from you and you can call us on 0113 4503639.

Speak soon,
