"My inspiration for this design came from my neighbour's passion flower plant which grows on both sides of our garden fence," says artist Alexis Snell, who lives in Otley, West Yorkshire. "The strange thing is, it only flowers on my side of the fence so I'm the one who gets to enjoy these amazingly beautiful flowers! They're so full of character; I love their perfectly geometrical shape. And I'm so happy with the way this wallpaper has turned out. You can feel the edges and textures of the pattern because of the traditional printing method that's been used. It has remained true to my original, lino cut design."

Available in either Black and Gold or Lilac and Silver, this bold pattern has a simplicity and strength which lends itself to both period and contemporary settings. The Black and Gold version is a powerful presence reminiscent of moody, gothic interiors, while the Lilac and Silver option has a lighter, more floral feel.
